Elias Christou is an accomplished Attorney and Barrister at Law with extensive experience across a wide range of legal fields. Elias holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he built a solid academic foundation in law and established the firm in 2010. He is a distinguished member of the Famagusta Bar Association, where he has been elected as Treasurer, actively contributing to the Association’s work and staying informed on the latest developments in the legal sector. He is also an investigator at the “Independent Investigation Authority for claims and complaints against the Police” and a member of the Mediator community. Through his dedication, professionalism, and passion for the law, Mr. Christou has earned a reputation as a reliable, knowledgeable, and highly respected legal expert.

Maria Therapontos studied LLB at the University of Bristol and is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association. She has been a partner at Elias Christou LLC since 2017. Maria is a Litigation Lawyer, handling a wide range of legal matters including litigation, banking-related cases, loan recoveries, debt collection, and extrajudicial matters. She is dedicated, hardworking, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for our clients and contributing to the continued success of the firm. Maria is fluent in Greek and English.

Nikos Mantovanis is a graduate of the LLB programme at the University of Central Lancashire, Cyprus Campus. He is responsible for preparing and handling agreements, as well as supporting the firm with various legal matters. Nikos is purpose-driven, eager to expand his knowledge and experience, and demonstrates strong strategic thinking and adaptability. He is fluent in Greek and English, and also familiar with Ancient Greek and Latin.

Antonia Iacovou is an office assistant at ELIAS CHRISTOU LLC. She is fluency in Russian language. She is responsible for the organisation/ administrative of the law firm.

Danae studied Law at the Hague University in the Netherlands and completed her degree at UCLan University in Cyprus. She is a lawyer at Elias Christou LLC. She is passionate about criminal justice and dedicated to defending client’s rights with integrity and passion. Danae is hardworking, detail-oriented and committed to achieving the best outcomes and the continued success of the firm. She is also fluent in Greek and English.
